30/08/09 - Fona-Car introduce local rank system

Until recently at Fona-Car we did not have a ranking system in place, meaning that customers sometimes had to wait until their taxi had travelled from our office location in Swinton to their pick-up point.  This could mean a wait of some time until the taxi arrived.

We now have three ranks in place in Swinton, Mexborough and Wath which cover the whole of the Dearne Valley area.  This means that there is less travelling time between jobs allowing us to get to your pick-up point in much less time.

01/09/09 - We now cover more areas

Through recent increases in the size of our taxi/private hire fleet we are now able to provide taxi services to a wider range of areas within the Dearne Valley area.  Fona-Car now cover Wath-Upon-Dearne, West Melton, Brampton, Bolton-Upon-Dearne, Goldthorpe, Denaby & Conisborough.

01/02/10 - Fona-Car fleet increases in size

Fona-Car have recently increased the size of their fleet by adding two extra vehicles including a seven seat Peugeot Tepee' people carrier.  Over the next couple of weeks we will be adding a further Toyota Avensis allowing us to service more customers throughout the Dearne Valley and beyond.

02/02/10 - Fona-Car welcomes two new drivers to it's fleet

Alan Auty and Andrew joined Fona-Car as company drivers in January of this year.  Their arrival has allowed us to cover even more airport runs, school runs and other work throughout the entire region.
